About

The difference between food and nourishment is the love story behind it.

At Serenbe Foods, that story begins with the Nygrens — a family who chose the beauty of the Chattahoochee Hill County over the buzz of Atlanta and the community they created one biscuit, one blueberry bush, one sidewalk at a time.

Over the years — and over good food — acquaintances became friends, visitors became guests and residents became neighbors.

A new chapter of the story began the day Matt Adolfi, chef de cuisine at Bacchanalia, Atlanta’s legendary restaurant, arrived at Serenbe to participate in a benefit. He quickly fell in love with the community, its values and the Nygrens’ oldest daughter, Garnie.

Today, as chef-in-residence of Serenbe and creator of Serenbe Foods, Matt brings his talent, recipes, passion for exceptional ingredients and relationships with local farmers to the table.

He also brings something just as valuable: his brother, Paddy, who pours his heart into everything from product development to pickling.

So many times over the years, guests have wished for ways to take a piece of Serenbe home with them. We can’t bottle the clean country air or the smell of honeysuckle in the spring, but can send the food that's such a big part of Serenbe's story. We hope it'll nourish your, body and soul..
